Yo, Mayfield! Jake here bringing in Archer Extra from the PSP game, Fate/Extra! As his real name is a minor spoiler that's potentially more rewarding to discover on your own, I'll be referring to him only as "Archer" in tags. There will be hints as to his true identity, same as what his canon does, but his real name will only be used in certain situations.
Anyway! That said, I'll move onto his personality: he's a cheeky smartass that likes needling people and being flippant nearly all the time. While a genuine part of his personality, this behavior also masks a deep self-loathing and quite a bit of insecurity. He favors underhanded means and dirty tricks in combat, like using poisoned arrows; Archer only really knows how to fight from the shadows, so he projects an outward disdain for things like chivalry and honor that just "slow him down" despite secretly envying those concepts. He's not a bad guy under the sarcasm and frivolous attitude, though! Just super bitter and a rank B douchebagall the most of the time.
As for housing, he'll be living all alone with drones at 1129 Taylor Road. I'll post his intro up in a day or so, although I've already tagged around with him a bit.
....and on that note, his arrival will cue Mami's exit for the second time. I've already hashed out my thoughts regarding this on my plurk so I'll just restate the gist of that here:
I've thought about this a lot, and it's been painfully apparent that I haven't done anything substantial with her in a long time. (Flaking out on events, castmate and CR posts...) And for some time before that, I've struggled to get her out there; I'd try, but my motivation would nosedive pretty quickly. Frankly, it's become difficult to have her engage with the setting anymore, and by this point I'm essentially squatting. While I love the CR she's had during her run here, it's just not fair of me to sit on her any longer. Not when I haven't been feeling it and don't foresee myself being able to in the future.
To everyone who played with her or wanted to, you have both my thanks and my apologies.
