Re: PENDING

Expanded personality: There are four characters that Sol interacts with most that show facets of his personality: Dizzy, I-no, Axl, and Ky.

With Dizzy, he shows an almost gentle side. He's certainly much nicer to her than to anyone else and tries to keep her best interests in mind. He understands and empathizes with what Dizzy is going through when she loses control of her Gear powers. Even when Necro takes over as a defense mechanism after Dizzy is knocked off of the Jellyfish Pirates' airship by I-no, he speaks to Dizzy directly and never addresses her "systems" (Necro, in this case, being the active one). He knows that she's still in there and can hear him, even if she won't remember it. He tells her to never lose her spirit; he sees in her the hope of the world.

I-no inspires absolute hatred in Sol. He holds nothing back when speaking to her or fighting her. In the story mode of Guilty Gear XX, he is made so intensely angry by I-no that he goes berserk and activates his Gear abilities. She embodies everything that Sol hates. Her completely careless nature of screwing around in the lives of others (and Sol -- she tries to eliminate his past self) infuriates him. He responds to her taunting with aggressive, direct, and rude insults and/or threats of violence.

His relationship with Axl is a good indication of how he treats his friends. Sol's irritated a lot by Axl, but never tells him to go away. He lets him tag along for however long he wants to, so long as Sol never feels that Axl is in danger. He seems to enjoy the company, even though he'll never admit it. They also get into what can be called "friendly" fights. In Sol's story mode in Guilty Gear XX, Axl gets the first hit in on him and Sol responds by giving a thumbs up as a sign of respect. Sol shows his concern in a strange way, mostly telling Axl to leave or go away so he doesn't get hurt.

How he treats Ky is an interesting facet to him. Sol made a promise to Ky in Accent Core+ to not interfere with his business in dealing with the Post-War Administration Bureau because, unlike most anyone else, Sol trusts Ky to be able to handle it on his own. He respects Ky in spite of the way he talks to him. Sol also trusts Ky enough to leave Dizzy in the care of the Jellyfish Pirates, which was a suggestion made by Ky. They have a very strong rivalry, but it's obvious that Sol cares about Ky; he doesn't have the patience to deal with Ky's lack of patience with him.
