[This is going to be an awkward question to ask, but she has to do this sometime. It's beginning to become a pain in her neck to deal with afterward. Therefore, it's off to the phone she goes!]

Alright, you guys. I've got a reeeeeeally important question I've gotta ask, and that means I need some help! So!

[Her voice does little to hide her embarrassment at this point.] Let's just say that somehow a bunch of clothes found their way in to getting holes right in the back. Pants, dresses, that kinda stuff! Y'know, the clothes that you kinda don't want getting holes in the back, if you get what I mean. No idea how that happened.

[There's a little bit of a sheepish laugh.] Someone mind teaching me how to fix that? Just in case it, uh... happens again. Heh... [It's really weird not having to accommodate for a tail, okay. Makoto just grew into the habit of adjusting clothes for her tail by making holes in them.

Suddenly that embarrassment is gone and she sounds just as chipper as ever.] Oh, oh! And no questions asked please! Much appreciated, thanks!
