Part 2/2

Sample Entry:
[ Action ]
[ Erik shifted uncomfortably where he sat. The tired droning from the man in front of the assembled crowd was punctuated by the rustle of clothes as people moved in their seats, the shuffling of children, and the shushing of parents. Clearly, he wasn't the only one who didn't want to be here. On and on the preacher babbled. The longer he sat, the more uncomfortable the pew seemed.

Erik sighed. The mindless creature beside him shot him an appropriately scandalised glare.

He couldn't decide which was the worst part of his fate: the loss of his natural powers or the fact that he had to endure church every Sunday. Fitting in proved to be a key factor to getting by in this place, so Erik wasn't about to miss the Sunday services. How long had it been since he'd attended to his own neglected faith? It wasn't as if there was a synagogue up the street if he wanted to, which he didn't.

The preacher seemed to go on for hours and Erik tuned him out almost completely. The only thing he was listening for was a signal that it was coming to an end. When it came, Erik eagerly navigated the throng to the exit and sighed again, much to the chagrin of some other members of the congregation. ]

What? [ He tried to look less annoyed than he really was. ] I'm Jewish.
