Abilities:
As a nation, Germany able to withstand more damage than a human. He's also more or less ageless. He's able to sustain damage and can heal rather quickly. At the same time, his existence is tied to the citizens of his country. If the state of Germany is dissolved, it's possible he could disappear all together. (It is also possible that certain death comes when people no longer consider themselves citizens of a state. If this is the case, it could explain Prussia's continued existence. While many people who do not study European history are unaware of Prussia, there are still some Germans that consider themselves Prussian, or even citizens of the DDR.)

Nationhood aside, Germany is strong. He spend a lot of his free time working out and making sure he stays in prime physical condition.
This means he could be a formidable opponent in a physical altercation. It's possible that he can be beaten in a fight, but it's always important to keep in mind that this is the personification of the country that fought a long-term two-front war against the combined might of over twenty countries--twice.

Prussia and Italy are definitely two weaknesses for him. Germany has a bit of a brother complex; despite having their differences and disagreements, Prussia is still his brother and the man who raised him. Even though he's an adult now, he's still very gullible where Prussia is concerned. If Prussia says that Tinkerbell exists and Germany can't find any evidence to prove otherwise, you can bet he'll believe in Tinkerbell.

Whether it's because Italy is his friend, or if he simply perceives him as being weak and defenceless, Germany always feels the need to come to his rescue, regardless of how inconvenient it is for him to do so. This means that Italy can be used as leverage against Germany, along with anyone else he cares about.

Germany also has a secret sweet tooth and enjoys eating cake from time to time. But don't tell anyone; he sticks to a strict diet, you know.

Sample Entry:

[Germany--or Ludwig, as he goes by to reduce confusion--isn't sure how long he's been here. It might be days, weeks, or even longer. It's hard to tell because each day consists of the same routine, over and over. Ludwig has adapted to it, as he's used to having a schedule, but this is much different. The behaviour of the natives here is quite unnerving, actually.

It's always the same from them. Too polite, too mechanical. It's something Ludwig would have preferred when he was back home, especially after having to deal with rather unpleasant people and situations, but now that he's experiencing it, he's realised that wanting utopian ideals is rather foolish.

Now he feels like he could break at any moment. Not only because it is so easy to get irritated with these people, but this lifestyle is too superficial and too slow. He's too accustomed to working himself to the point of exhaustion from working against financial and international crises, to going home to his brother and three dogs.

The pressure here isn't the same. Perhaps he should be enjoying it, but he can't. He can't stand that after work every day--after the same thing over and over--he returns home to a wife and child he doesn't know or love. It's a lifestyle he's never had before, and never even wanted.

His fake family members aren't particularly bad, though. He just hates the concept. But---now that he's back 'home' again, it's time to deal with them once more. In the kitchen, his 'wife' is preparing dinner. Much to his chagrin, the kitchen isn't as clean as he would prefer it. Immediately, he fills the sink up with hot, soapy water to begin cleaning behind her.]

I do not understand how you are capable of cooking in these filthy conditions...
