Canon Updates

Canon updates will be accepted at any time.

Please expect up to a month's wait before a reply. Our goal is to process canon update requests twice per month, but we may not always meet this goal during busy periods.



For a Canon Update, Fill Out the Following

<b>Name:</b> Not the character's name, but yours or however you'd like us to refer to you. <b>Character Name:</b> <b>Canon:</b> <b>Housing Change:</b> You may keep your old housing if you wish, or you may request a change. If you wish to change housing, either specify the specific house or request a new, randomly chosen house here. As with normal applications, if you're requesting a specific new house, you will need permission from all the players in that house. Please also keep in mind that if your character is going from a child (under 18) to an adult (over 18), they will need to be placed in a different slot. Please let us know here if that is the case; you can only keep your old house in that case if there is an open slot of the right type. <b>Reason for Canon Update:</b> This doesn't need to be particularly long or detailed! However, if you've been frequently canon updating characters, if you've recently been inactive with the character, or if the mods have spoken to you about characterization, we'd like to see some thought given to this section. <b>Updated Background:</b> You will need to write this section out. We do not need the character's total history; rather, we would like to see a description of the events that have taken place between your character's previous canon point and their new one. As we don't allow AU, this will need to stick to canon events, but you are free to extrapolate on things that do not contradict canon. Just be clear that you are doing so. The length this needs to be will obviously vary based on how much of a jump this is, but be thorough and detailed about important points. <b>Updated Personality:</b> Again, we do not need a full personality section. Instead, this section is for describing the changes in the character that took place between their previous point in canon and their new one. For some, there may not have been many changes, so this section can be brief. However, if the character has a dramatic personality change, then you will need to write a longer section here. <b>Updated Abilities:</b> Only necessary if they have now changed from what you mentioned in your original application.
