Auf Wiedersehen
I kind of hate to do this but at this point I'm going to have to be letting go of the Major. As it stands the well has just run dry for him in Mayfield at the moment and I can't get much motivation to continue on with him. While I've had an utter blast playing him for the last year and a half I can't think of much more to do with him that would be that substantial at the moment. He has a lot of great CR and I'm sad to let him go but for the he just isn't a character that's meshing well with the setting for me.
That being said I'll still be here with Pokey and Haruko. And it's not like it'll be smooth sailing from here. The Major's canon is filled to the brim with asshole fanatics of all shapes and sizes and I'll be bringing another of them here to Mayfield very, very soon. This app period, if things work out right.
But I really do want to thank people for all the great CR and events I've gotten to do with him and I'm sorry about this. I'm just not having as much fun with the character anymore and when a character becomes more work than enjoyment I can't validate keeping him, as much for myself as well as the fact that he'll become less enjoyable to others as time goes on. I think I've begun to tread the same ground with him over and over and that makes me concerned that he'll just burn out in the end. Specifically I would like to thank Wighty, Trek, Athena, and Ru for the fantastic antagonistic CR he's had with all of them. You guys made him a joy to play here and are a big reason he's gotten to last as long as he has. You guys have been great and I'm both glad to have gotten to bounce him off you.
