Hiatus Post
If you're planning on taking a break from our happy little town, you'll need to comment here so that we won't accidentally nab you in the Activity Check.
Please note that your hiatus only counts if you post here. The mods will not be checking the community's 'hiatus' tag for hiatuses. A hiatus is only official if posted here.
Please consider what is a hiatus and what is not; being away for a single weekend does not require you to fill out the hiatus form here, but you are free to say that you'll be away for a few days inmayfield_rpg. You are also still welcome (and encouraged) to announce your hiatus to other players under the hiatus tag, too, but remember that doing that does not make the hiatus official; you'll still need to comment here to make it count.

*: What will your characters be doing while you are on hiatus? Will they be droned, on autopilot, or staying quiet? Do any other players have godmod rights? Clarify that here.
**: When the hiatus begins; please provide a specific date.
***: A specific date is preferred, but if you aren't sure, we will at least require a rough timeframe, such as 'in 3-4 weeks' or 'after school calms down, which should be soon'.
Hiatus form
If you are gone for longer than your estimated return date, a mod will comment here to check up on you. If you need to extend your hiatus, that's fine, but we'll need to know.
Additionally, please comment here again once you've returned from hiatus so that we know that you're back. All expired hiatuses will then be deleted (you're free to delete your own, too).
You are only allowed to hiatus for a maximum of one month unless there are extenuating circumstances; these situations will need to be discussed with a mod before we can grant a hiatus. This rule is to prevent character-sitting.
