 Hello Mayfield! My name is Pip and I am bringing in this girly who goes by the name of Ashlin Thomas. She is an OC of mine and is more than a little bit of a cloud cukoolander. Ash is prone to day dreams, bizarre projects, and perching herself on top of tall things like trees and bookcases. Her hobbies include stamp collecting, and welding, and she is absolutely, and utterly terrified of doctors. Um in addition to her normal strangeness Ash will be more than a little off kilter when she gets here because Mayfeild will be taking her companion-since-birth a shadow creature named Bo-Bo. Part of the reason Ash was considered so strange back home was because to most people these Shadow creatures are invisible and so she comes of as a twenty-three year old with an imaginary friend.  You can read more about her, and her world here if you're interested.

So yeah, it is not going to affect her well, apologizes in advance to her neighbors, and the child she is apparently now mother of, please excuse the hysterical blond girl. She'll get over it eventually sort of.  And on that note I should probably mention that Ash will be living at 1331 Benny Road.

Welcome to the game, Pip! I'm Yubsie. The most immediately relevant character I play is Ashlin's not!son Hajime here. He's taken to spending most of his time away from the house, but he'll still try to be helpful to Ashlin. He's used to his not!moms taking it oddly. :p

In addition to him, I also play Death (Sandman... this is in fact and important distinction here :p), Sarah Jane Smith (Doctor Who/The Sarah Jane Adventures), Wes Janson (Star Wars), Kaylee Frye (Firefly), Granny Weatherwax (Discworld) and Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter).

As for your epic character list: omg I want to rewatch Pretear now, it's been ages since I did, I need to read both Sandman and Dicworld because I have heard they are both amazing, YAY Sarah Jane and Neville :D, and I want to rewatch Firefly now too...

Fortunately, Ukraine has him covered on the mom front. And you've actually heard of Pretear, that's always so exciting! Since you're familiar with his canon, I should probably note that Hajime's been in game a year and a half now so he's actually going to be turning nine in April. :p

Discworld and Sandman are amazing. Pratchett and Gaiman are easily my favourite writers. And re-watching Firefly is always a good plan!

Good to hear he's got somebody watching out for him :D It was a cool series, and the manga was good too even if it was super different. Have to say I liked the anime better though.

I go to a nerd school so arranging a Firefly marathon would not be difficult at all...

The manga definitely had a huge "Eh deh beh deh... that didn't happen in the anime!" moment. :p I enjoyed both, but the anime definitely had better pacing.

Marathons are definitely the best way to watch it. :D
