I AM NOT SORRY.
But anyway, hi! Effy here, player of such people as Miku Hatsune, virtual diva; Negi Springfield, badass adorable mage teacher; Lyra Bark, badass adorable Pokemon Trainer; Mao, demonic Overlord/mad scientist; and Karina Lyle/Blue Rose, second most tsundere superhero ever. This time I'm bringing you Moist von Lipwig from Discworld!
Some facts about him:
- He is a con man. Okay, he was a con man, until he got hanged to within an inch of his life and found himself taking a job as Postmaster General.
- As a result he can "read" people. As a result of years and years of practice he's gotten very good at it, but it can be a little god-modey at times so here's a handy (optional!) permissions post. (Little old ladies and other characters don't have to do it, though, apparently they can see right through him. Just ask Mrs. Topsy Lavish.)
- He is good with words, and knows just how to give a crowd what it wants.
- Part of the reason why he was a criminal is because...well, it was exciting! After reforming (somewhat), he takes up a lot of very dangerous activities, i.e. Extreme Sneezing, night-time climbing, banking (makes sense in context), and being near his fiancee Adora Belle Dearheart. Yes, that's her name. No, she is in no way adorable. There is a reason why he calls her Spike.
- And yes, he's engaged. He will not be pleased when he wakes up already married to somebody who isn't Spike.
- He has an honest face, gaze and handshake, among other things, which is why he was so successful as a criminal in the first place.
- ...plus he is also very forgettable. That's another reason why.
- He has a golden suit. It's in the username. He likes having style, okay, it's what's burned into people's minds.
- He's also, despite being a criminal, a pacifist. Sure, he'll fight if he really has to, but if he can talk his way out of it he will.
- He's a fan of taking refuge in audacity.
- Post-Making Money, not only is he the Postmaster General of Ankh-Morpork, but he is also Master of the Royal Mint. Plus now everyone knows he used to be a criminal, after he confessed during a trial, because a dog (which is also Chairman of the Bank) was propelled across the courtroom by its new...well, it's not a rubber bone. It makes sense in context, okay, go read the books.
He now lives at 628 Topper Street as not!family to Blue and a bunch of drones, apparently. They will get along well with each other, clearly.
