Jobs
• Welcome to your happy life in Mayfield! Here you have everything - the perfect family, the perfect house . . . and of course, the perfect job. What do you mean you don't have a job? Are you some kind of . . . well. We don't support those kind here, so it's probably best you're here on this page to sign up. Don't worry! As soon as you post here OOCly, your character will immediately be recognized as having that job (just like he or she has had for years) by the NPCs - and their bosses, naturally. Don't be late!
• Exceptions to this are the police officer and librarian jobs, which are limited to five at a time and require an application. We will also be monitoring the teaching jobs to make sure the positions held make sense; based on the size of Mayfield, there will only be one or two teachers per subject.
• Jobs can be held by most characters in Mayfield, excluding children. Adults can sign up for jobs they are qualified for, while teens will have part-time jobs available to them. Just like school, missing your job for more than 3 days in a row will result in a droning.
• As a note, many of the jobs are segregated by gender. In most areas of work, there will be jobs for men and jobs for women. While there will be a gender bias IC, we will do our best to keep opportunities for employment equal OOC.
• To sign up for your job, just comment under the Job Title you wish your character to have (as long as they meet the requirements). Happy job hunting, Mayfield!

Re: POLICE OFFICER
I think it's a job that fits this character incredibly well. It would be very IC in that this is a way that he would want to serve, and he'd be extremely good at it. Mayfield is definitely my main game and I have a lot of fun here. As my other character is a rather apathetic nation, this could also be a good way to get more involved in the plot of the game.
IC Reason:
Keith's life is looking out for people, as the hero Sky High. He even goes so far as to patrol his home city each and every night. Even though it's his job, it's also easy to see, in the series, that he loves helping people. He's also formidable with his powers when it comes to defending. He's also really, really likeable.
Your Attachment To This Character:
Even though he is a relatively new muse for me, I have had more fun playing Keith than I have in quite awhile with any other new characters. He is hilarious and fun, and I find myself going back to his character type again and again. I feel as though I have a pretty good handle on him already, but this will also be a chance to help me develop him in different directions. I can't see me dropping this character at all, and again, I really love Mayfield.
Your Workload:
I love the plots here and have almost always been really involved; plainly, in Mayfield I live for cute/awesome CR, conflicts, and the events, haha. I don't see that changing in the future; even if I did get busier, I love rping and will always make time for it anyway. I have hours of time each day.
Sharing Is Caring:
Even though Keith can be a bit of an airhead, he's actually surprisingly logical and effortlessly leads others. He's also very serious minded, so anything that he perceives as a threat will be spread with earnest, even if he has to visit everybody in town. Others' safety is his number one priority. He's also good at seeing others' strengths, so he'd want to give them as much information as he could because most importantly, he'd really like someone to find a way they can go home!
