Event: ????

It's the dead of night when things start to change.

Maybe you don't notice until the morning, or maybe you notice when it wakes you up from your peaceful slumber all tucked away in your bed next to your loving spouse, but the radio keeps turning itself on, at full volume, before behaving normally again.

The TV interrupts your favorite show to flicker on a static channel, or turns itself off and on at random, then works again perfectly five minutes later.

The lights dim, only to return moments later - who knows? It could be a trick of the eyes.

Of course, it would have to be a pretty impressive trick to not notice how you can you walk right through your front door without feeling a thing, while it looks as solid as ever.

It's hard to watch the clock at work when it can't seem to tell the time properly at all.

Once you're outside in the light of day, it's easier to see: and the sights are just as odd. Drones go about their business as normal, except for the occasional one that walks backwards. Or the one that repeats "Good Morning, do you know the time?" incessantly without breathing until you manage to escape to another room.

Maybe, if you listen hard enough on the right radio stations it's almost as if you can hear voices . . .

[starting in the early hours of morning, things are beginning to happen around town. Nothing lasts longer than a few minutes at a time.]

How long does this bit of weirdness last?

It is ongoing until further notice.

Is there any way that characters can hear or catch what was said on the radio if they strain to listen?

No, nothing distinct can be heard just yet.

Question! If characters can walk through the door would they be able to just fall through their bed in the middle of the night?

That's fine - any household items can be played around with to your heart's content - just remember any intangibility only lasts for a few minutes before it goes back to normal.

That said, just so this is answered in public: all previously sealed areas (City Hall, Dairy, etc.) will remain sealed! The only places affected are ones where characters normally travel.

I did not even think about that. I just thought it would be amusing to have Conan fall through his hospital bed.

Thanks for the clarification though.

Can characters phase through one another? For example, if someone were to try and smack another character and wind up with their hand stuck in the other one's back?

Characters will remain solid for now!

Are the crazy radio/TV signals due to the appliances themselves, or the actual signals?

Tachikoma sometimes checks on them, and if they started acting weird, they would start recording/analyzing them more in-depth if there was something going on with the actual signals.

The source of the problem remains infuriatingly hard to pinpoint. Sometimes it's the appliance, sometimes its the signal itself.

Can characters get stuck while phasing through things?

Yes go for it.

I don't know if this would come up as being relevant, but would any of the main NPCs (Postman, Milkman, the Smiths, Librarian, etc) be affected in the same way as the regular drones or would they remain normal like the player characters?

Main NPCs have made themselves rather scarce, and wouldn't have been spotted.

So Sam is planning to break into the dairy while everything's going wonky (possibly with Margot's help), and I just wanna get the all-clear, are they going to get in or is it going to end in disaster from the get-go?

Odd, stupid question - we can phase through objects. Does that include clothes?
