Hello there, people of Mayfield! Name's Robin, new guy here with a new character for your enjoyment! This is Knock Out, Decepticon medic and full-time narcissist of Transformers Prime. He's a charmer, a sweet-talker, and quite sadistic if the situation allows. Naturally, he will not be pleased with being transposed into a squishy human body, though a lover of beauty like him will find its good points, as well as those of others.

Be warned, if you're pretty, he'll hit on you.

And if you mess with his pretty, he'll attempt to open your skull with a circular saw. :D

So the convention was awesome and I've really been back since yesterday, but shhhhhh don't worry about that. So I have a few announcements!

Reimu Hakurei (paradisemiko) has now moved to the house of 913 Bilko, so she's living it up with Mokou, Nitori and Fi in what's unofficially being called "Touhouse." I'll put up a post with her later today.

As for my other announcement: I've apped an eighth character! In case any of you are familiar with Disgaea or Nippon Ichi games in general, then you might be familiar with this adorable 4th wall shatterer here, Asagi! She's cute, she's tough, she has amazing skills with guns and she's stuck as Nippon Ichi's running joke until she finally becomes the main character of her own game (which probably won't happen). She's living in 7135 Brooks street along with Rarity, Tohru, Aurora and Tsukasa. Tsukasa will drown in estrogen now that this drama queen is stuck with him.

Hello, Mayfield! This is Kabby, (Rapunzel!Mun), with two new characters to intro and a bit of tl;dr about my playing so far. So. Yes. Here we go!

First, obviously, I'm bringing you this little kitty, Rocky Rickaby! He's from the webcomic Lackadaisy, which I totally reccomend to everyone, and is a ball of manic-ness and desperation. He's also going to start his time in Mayfield as human; image can be found on his profile. Rocky will be living at 915 Bilko, so I am still giving you guys a cat! Sort of. (I'm super-excited to still have the chance to be part of you guys' family!)

Next, my other new character is King Julien of the Madagascar franchise. (onetwolienthree) Yes. The dancing lemur. He's totally ridiculous and one of my favorite characters to play. (And yes, that's the Afro Circus movie. I feel like I should apologize even without any connection to Dreamworks, I just. S-Sob.) He'll be a pet at 3472 Erwin, you lucky family, you.

Now, I realize that I haven't done the greatest job of tagging around so far in my time here. It's honestly just that I get stupidly shy with people I don't know, even in roleplay! I will definitely be working on changing that, though, by tagging other character's posts more often.

Seeing as Psych's 6th season concluded in April, I've finally gone ahead and Canon-updated Carlton to the finale as there were a lot of subtle, but very interesting moments that happened in 5 episodes with this grumpy old man.

A few things include, but are not limited to:

• Seeing his Marlowe face-to-face instead of behind a prison partition, and having her help out with a case!
• Said girlfriend punching him in the face and breaking his nose!
• Being cockblocked several times by a prison warden while trying to give his girlfriend a kiss. :c
• Constantly being reminded by his partner to have a sense of common courtesy (ie, tact)
• Enjoying the strain Shawn Spencer puts on his personal relationship with O'Hara by taking on case to prove a guy she arrested innocent. (no seriously, he relishes in the strain)
• Being on the receiving end of a high-impact car accident because O'Hara can't drive, jk
• Solving not one, but two cases in the same day, one being over 20 years old.

If you honestly want to torture yourself, You can read exactly what goes on in these 5 episodes [Here]. Mind you, it's really lengthy because what the hell is 'being concise'?

After his 24-hour droning, there will really be no noticeable change to his usual personality. However - He's a hell of a lot more friendlier (and somewhat protective) when talking about his girlfriend. He's also a lot more nicer to Shawn, but that may only be seen whilst interacting with Juliet in-game since there's no Shawn here. :c

Yo, Mayfield! Jake here bringing in Archer Extra from the PSP game, Fate/Extra! As his real name is a minor spoiler that's potentially more rewarding to discover on your own, I'll be referring to him only as "Archer" in tags. There will be hints as to his true identity, same as what his canon does, but his real name will only be used in certain situations.

Anyway! That said, I'll move onto his personality: he's a cheeky smartass that likes needling people and being flippant nearly all the time. While a genuine part of his personality, this behavior also masks a deep self-loathing and quite a bit of insecurity. He favors underhanded means and dirty tricks in combat, like using poisoned arrows; Archer only really knows how to fight from the shadows, so he projects an outward disdain for things like chivalry and honor that just "slow him down" despite secretly envying those concepts. He's not a bad guy under the sarcasm and frivolous attitude, though! Just super bitter and a rank B douchebag all the most of the time.

As for housing, he'll be living all alone with drones at 1129 Taylor Road. I'll post his intro up in a day or so, although I've already tagged around with him a bit.

....and on that note, his arrival will cue Mami's exit for the second time. I've already hashed out my thoughts regarding this on my plurk so I'll just restate the gist of that here:

I've thought about this a lot, and it's been painfully apparent that I haven't done anything substantial with her in a long time. (Flaking out on events, castmate and CR posts...) And for some time before that, I've struggled to get her out there; I'd try, but my motivation would nosedive pretty quickly. Frankly, it's become difficult to have her engage with the setting anymore, and by this point I'm essentially squatting. While I love the CR she's had during her run here, it's just not fair of me to sit on her any longer. Not when I haven't been feeling it and don't foresee myself being able to in the future.

To everyone who played with her or wanted to, you have both my thanks and my apologies.

Hey hey, everyone.  Brantron here, bringing you another character: Kariya Matou from Fate/Zero.  If you don't mind spoilers, this page explains him far better than I ever could, but here's a bullet point list of some things to know about this fella:

• He's a member of the Matou family, one of the Big Three sorcerous families
• He's the first talented mage the family has produced in generations, but turned his back on his inheritance
• He entered the 4th Holy Grail War as Berserker's Master to save Sakura from having to train with Zouken Matou
• He's full of Crest Worms and is pretty unbalanced as a result
• He's in love with Tokiomi Tohsaka's wife, and hates Tokiomi himself with the passion of a thousand suns

Fun times for the whole family.  And speaking of families, his new family is Rider and Sakura over at 1666 Nelson Street.  Gonna be a whole house full of Matou feels pretty soon.  I may wait a bit before I do his IC intro until I can get through some more of the novels and finalize a good canon point to draw him from, but I did want to put this up for now.  Looking forward to joining Mayfield's Nasu!family.

Hey Mayfield.  How've you been?  I'm good, thanks for asking.  It's Kae, back with Kono Kalakaua from Hawaii Five-0 now that life has generally settled down.  She's going to be living over at 460 Stone Street this time, with her buddy cop partner Peter Parker and Umbrella.

She remembers her last time in Mayfield, but it's been a year in canon-time since her last stay.  In that time she's lost her badge, been forced into an undercover operation to expose a dirty ex-cop, regained her badge, and went to North Korea on a secret mission to save her boss (among other things).  She's also seeing someone who is kind of the enemy (it's complicated), and her story-arc for the season ends in a situation where she's in Major Trouble.  Of course, I'll be pulling her immediately after her Major Trouble.

Long story short, essentially she's the same Kono with more experiences under her belt, and if you knew her before she'll remember you this go around.

I'm planning on putting up her intro post today or tomorrow.

The first is Beatrice from animemangavisual novel Umineko no Naku Koro ni. She's bratty, childish, a bit naive, and... tends to be very cruel in her actions at times. She's also a witch, supposedly. For those familiar with her canon, she's going to be coming in mid Episode 4 :3 She's also living at 730 Anderson Lane. o7

The second is Riki from the relatively new JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles ( legendpon ). He's also a bit too childish for his own good, but old enough to call himself a Dad. But he's all around... pretty optimistic and also pretty naive, and will definitely be moreso with an entire world he's unfamiliar with like Mayfield. He's been placed at 949 Beulah Street c:
