Hey Mayfield! I'm heading to Florida to go to Disneyworld and all that, and because I won't have internet I'm calling a hiatus! I'll be gone from the 17th to the 24th.

This affects Accelerator, Schrodinger, and Sayaka Miki. I'm just gonna drone them all.

After thinking about this for the last two months it's time to rip off the band-aid. It's been a great run, after being in game for almost a year and a half I've just fallen out of love with the setting. I thought bringing in a new character might help but I've lost what ever motivation I had for keeping up. So with that being said Mana (knowsabout ), Kasen (hermits ) and Sion are all heading home.

The past year has been a blast and it's been a joy playing in the Type-Moon cast, and the short time I was in the Touhou cast was a blast as well. I'm really sorry about leaving right as I apped as Kasen but it's just not working out. I will be finishing up the threads from her intro post though. Mayfield will always be my home game considering it was the first game I ever apped to on LJ and maybe in the future I'll be back.

Also on the subject of items since both Mana and Sion have a few that weren't from regains. Sion's gun that was given to her by Garviel will be returned. Marisa will find a few vials of blood that Sion prepared before hand in what remains of the lab at her house. Along with the vials of blood there's a note explaining the basics of what happens if someone gets infected by said blood. All of the clothes Mana had made for her will be left in Shiki's room, and the ice cream will be in the freezer.

So...where do I begin? I really want to apologize deeply to the entire Nasuverse cast for this, especially with my promise to be more active and actually stick around longer this time, and considering Archer's place in a lot of CR, this is a pretty big bandaid rip. But I've used RP for escapism for at least six years now, and I'm at a point where I can't keep doing that or really balance it enough to have enough strength to fix my very abysmal RL situation.

So I'm quitting big RPs. Everywhere. And this sadly includes DW and Mayfield.

To everyone who welcomed me and had fun with Archer, thank you all so much. And I'm sorry I couldn't last long enough to see some really fun plans or more CR to happen.

So as those of you who read my plurk know, my router - and by extension, my internet - has been dying a slow, grueling death for awhile now, and it's just been getting increasingly worse. (At least, we think it's the router.) It's gotten to the point where I have to wait several minutes for pages to load, if they ever do, and refresh multiple times in hopes that eventually it'll coincide with one of those magical moments when my connection is good and things will actually appear on my screen! Needless to say, this makes tagging seven kinds of hell, so I need to take a hiatus until things are worked out. We're working out the details of replacing our router, so hopefully that'll be soon.

Until that time, I'm just going to sit here and whimper at my computer. ;w; INTERNET Y U NO WORK

[It's that time again, Mayfield. Father's Day! Good thing the town isn't pulling anything crazy for once oh who are we kidding yes it is.

For those men who felt slighted by what happened on Mother's Day, well, gosh, have we got some good news for you! Today, the women of Mayfield will wait on the men in their life hand and foot--and they will do it completely willingly. Women will become the perfect wives they ought to be (don't let the other ladies gossip about you!) and girls will be the perfect obedient daughters. Not that you weren't already, of course. ]

That's right! For those of you familiar with how we've always treated Mother's Day and Father's Day in the past, the latter is again a reversal of the former. Women will be affected by the town to become absolutely devoted wives, daughters, mothers, or friends. This will not be a droning per se, as they will keep their personality and their memories of life before Mayfield. But they will have feelings of adoration for the men they meet, and they will view the men in their household as adopted family. This devotion will be strong enough that they will willingly do anything a man asks them to do, even if he asked her to end her own life.

Of course, this event is opt in. Below, if you play a female character (meaning a character the town views as female), you may sign up. You can choose whether you would like your character affected this way by all men or just the ones in her household, so specify that when you sign up.

As always, even if someone signs up, you are required to respect their wishes. You must ask for permission before doing anything to their character and godmoding is still not allowed.
