Ok so now that my summer courses are officially over I'm going to come back to rping. There won't be anything new right now because I handwaved Scratch dying in the carnival, but I will be backtagging the dozen or so threads I have. So look forward to that, if you want to keep threading.

Unfortunately there is bad news - I decided to drop Tsubaki Yayoi (duodecim). I loved all the CR and stuff she did but I'm looking to downsize my time rping and decided that Mayfield is a game I rather have one character in. Thanks to everyone who threaded with her and had CR, forming or otherwise, because she was fun to play while it lasted!

My name is Squiggles, and I'm a new face here bringing in Czeslaw Meyer from Baccano! Because this canon spans such a large amount of time, I'll also add that he's from the summer of 1932, at which point he is living in Mahattan, New York. He's a sweet kid unless he decides not to act like one, really...

Anyhoo, he'll be taking up residence here in Mayfield at 459 Stone Street, which is the household of the charming redhead, Claire Stanfield. It's nice to meet you all!

Hey, Mayfielders.

This game has been my home game since August 2010, and I have to say it’s been an absolute treat to play here. I’ve made a lot of good friends, I’ve met plenty of incredible people, and I’ve taken part in some of the most rewarding and emotionally satisfying CR imaginable. It really, really hurts to do this, especially so close to the two-year mark, but unfortunately, I think I’m going to have to step back for the time being. Both Shadow the Hedgehog and Edward Nigma, the Riddler will be dropped.

I’m very sorry, but truthfully, my motivation’s been jumpy for the past couple of months and, with a busier RL schedule, it’s been especially dry as of late. I’d try to sort it out with a hiatus but I think I may need more time than a standard hiatus would allow me. It’s my hope to try and come back at some point in a few months (maybe in the fall), but for now, I think it’d be best to take it easy and wait for that spark to return on its own.

With this drop, I will also be stepping down from my duties as an assistant mod. To the main modteam (Siz, Cappy, AO, and BF), and my fellow assistant mods (Ru and Ena), thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your team. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to play and work with you, and I wish you guys the best in future Mayfield developments!

Hello, Mayfielders! Kabby/Rapunzel-mun here, with character number two. Again. But I actually, you know, planned this one.

Anyway! I'm bringing you Kurt Hummel from Glee, who is an utterly fabulous sixteen year old who is a bit of a diva. Maybe more than a bit. He will do horribly with the social standards of the 1950s. It's gonna be great. For the Gleeks, he's taken from after the Season 2 episode Duets.

Um, moving on, I will be leaving for England tomorrow! I'll be away until the 28th/29th, and though for some of it I will definitely be hiatusing, I'm going to stick around for a bit; at least until the Carnival plot has a clean finish.

I'd like to introduce my newest/oldest muse, Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Now he's no stranger to being put into other worlds but he is gonna be a bit weirded out, if not freaked that he can't use the Keyblade. So he's gonna be a bit of a confused mess for a bit maybe. I'm taking him from the events after Kingdom Hearts 2 but before DDD. He will have read the King's letter and was about to leave the island again to make the people who made him, him not sad anymore.
